1. Data Collected

We store:

• Email address as primary means of user identification if you own an account.
• Hashed password stored in database for authentication.
• OAuth authentication is also available through 3rd parties if you choose not to create account. This is more secure as we only store email recieved after these providers verify your account.
• Your personalised contents, preferences, settings.

2. Purpose of Data

Used solely for:

• Account authentication.
• Personalising content, user activity on platform, recommendations.

3. Data Sharing

We never sell or share your data.

TMDB receives non-identifiable API requests (e.g., "movie ID 123").

4. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. HTTPS encryption is enforced.

5. Your Rights

You solely reserve the right to delete you account should you choose to. Deletion removes all personal data. Recovery is not possible afterwards.

6. Children's Privacy

Service not intended for users under 13.
